Hey George, here is a reminder for you next time you’re finishing up a presentation.
1) Does the presentation flow smoothly like a simple conversation? Figure out the PR line and narrative of the deck.
2) Is it visual-heavy or copy-heavy? Remember, a picture is worth a hundred words! Maybe even a GIF.
3) Is the idea clear? Does the image make me feel something? Is there a visual energy to the good stuff in the deck?
4) Don’t forget the recap slide.
5) Is it beautiful?
6) What do you like about each idea? What do you not like about each idea?
Don’t be lazy. Spend as much time on the deck-building process as the ideation process.
Go through this list next time you’re designing a presentation deck. Remember to use the checklist above, because you’re so god damn forgetful sometimes.
